Charlie Scroggins
CPA, President
Charlie has over 17 years experience in accounting and tax functions. He focuses on state and federal tax planning for high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs in professional services, real estate, and construction.
Charlie is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating Cum Laude with his Master of Professional Accountancy. He started his career at a small tax and accounting firm in Houston before starting his own accounting services business in 2008.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys spending time with his family including his three year old daughter, photography and woodworking, and being outdoors.
Jennifer Scroggins
CPA, Director
Jennifer has over 14 years experience in accounting and tax functions. She focuses on accounting and federal tax planning for businesses and their owners, along with individual tax planning and compliance. She works with a diverse client base including professional services, real estate, medical professionals, and more.
Jennifer is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then received her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. She was with Deloitte Tax in their international tax compliance group for 5 years before starting her own CPA practice in 2013.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family including her five-year-old daughter, reading, baking goodies to share with friends, family, and neighbors, and she is an avid animal lover.
Kaylin Russell
Staff
Kaylin grew up in Lufkin, TX and graduated from Central High School before attending Angelina College. She graduated from Angelina College with her Associate’s Accounting degree. She worked in the banking industry for several years before transitioning to full time accounting functions. She has over 15 years in accounting experience, specializing in bookkeeping with experience across several industries.
In her spare time, Kaylin enjoys playing pool, crafting and making personalized shirts, wood crafts, and hand painted signs, and spending time with her rescue dog.
Jami Doan
Office Manager
Jami was born in Naples, FL and later moved to Oklahoma. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelors in Health and Sports Sciences.
She currently lives in Little Elm with her husband and 10 year old twins and 2 rescue pups.
In her spare time, you can find her outdoors working in the yard, biking and hanging out with her family, or you may find her attempting DIY projects.
Heather Blackmon
Bookkeeper
Heather attended the University of South Florida and began her bookkeeping career at a CPA office. As she worked, she moved through the bookkeeping department and continued to thrive and learn from her work. Heather has over 25 years experience in bookkeeping and accounting with a variety of different industries.
She currently lives in Crosby, TX with her husband, 2 children – Katie, 13, and Sam, 10.
Outside of work, you can find Heather with her family at a softball field cheering on the oldest or getting her husband and son ready to go to their deer lease. She enjoys being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family!
